You europeans have the luxury of ordering them without a high risk of legal troubles. So if you want it, buy it.

It's "worth" is totally dependent upon you. If you feel that the shrooms you will receive will be worth the money you payed for the kit, then obviously it would be "worth" it to you. You've given no information regarding price, so I'm not sure what kind of advice your asking for here. I was thinking about ordering a kit too, but then I just decided to grow my own. I'm not sure what kind of answers you're looking for here.

I have also been thinking about ordering the Master Grow Kit and getting my own strain... But I think just doing it myself with the PF Tek will yield more... Unless someone can tell me otherwise . LOL

I think that i will cost more if i will make it. And - Stimpy and Ren - I would like to know is this working, does it will grow? I think that box with colonized substrate might get old untill i get it. And it is pretty cold outside and i think that colonized substrate might suffer from cold and become dead. Dont know really thats why i ask for your help.

I'm not exactly sure where azarius is based. I'm assuming that's the company you were looking to buy from. I'm not really sure how resilient mycelium is, but i think it is very much so. It can go kinda dormant in cold temps and then spring back to life once warmed. Not sure how long the mycelium will survive though. Maybe shoot them an email and ask about general shipping times and the age of the colonized substrate.

I just ordered a syringe and a bag of rye and innoculated it about 4 days ago. It's really not that hard to grow. Keep everything sterile, and you're good. The syringe and bag arrived on the same day, but shipped from different companies. Was a pleasant surprise! Almost fate.

those things are great but expensive i would say its well worth it tho lol

I was going to order and then received this. Worth $80 after shipping and currency conversion when there is a 40% chance it will not show up?

noticed that growkits to the US are very often refused and send back.
They come back here after many weeks, and arent in good shape anymore.
Or sometimes the package arrives empty.

If you do want to order a growkit we wont stop you. Based on our
experiences we can say: the chance is around 60% it will arrive.
Any other shop that tells you better news, is not aware of the
reality, or is trying to make it look better to customers than it is.

We pack discrete, thats not the point. Customs opens big heavy growkit
packages more often than thin letterboxes (in which truffles go).

Before you take financial risk with a growkit we just wanted to tell
you that truffles have around 90% shipping success.

We've heard that the reason that customs took the growkit away has
been communicated by an empty box with a note, saying that "you need a
licence to import agrarian products".

We talk about the US as 1 country, but noticed that states have
different laws and different shipping success. We will try to gather
some feedback as to what states are more successful than others.
Sometimes kits arrived very fast with no problems. Unlike for
truffles, for growkits we dont have enough data now (oct'11 as we

hey how would u go about growing shrooms where do u get the spores is there any way to grow them with out spending money on it
me and my friend went to a cow field trying to find some ounce
but never could and im kinda scared to buy it all online especially if i may not even receive anything

if you want to grow mushrooms indoor your going to need to spend some money, unless you already have everything you need at home layin around, its really a low investment, i have a little under 200 invested in my shroom grow, and i just make half of it back with the first oz. but you can spend a little over 40 and be good. you can buy syringes at SporeFarmer.com they have a bunch of strains for 9 bucks! spores101 charges 16. and you should also download or check out or buy "the Mushroom Cultivator" good reading

I have been buying the bags and syringes for two years, never had a problem. The whole thing about customs is news to me

home kits are easy to make.
The biggest thing i recommend is instead of using "Brown Rice Flour" PF tek style.
Use "Wild Bird Seed" that you grind into flour with a $12 coffee grinder.
you can usually get 20lbs of Bird seed for $10

This allows you to grow for pretty cheap.
most expensive thing you need to buy is a pressure cooker.
i suggest the 22 or 23 quart pressure cookers on amazon.com they are around $75 - $85
