showing sex too early

hey i have two pure strains, non autoflowering...a lot of my plants have started to show sex which is great because they are all female...my question is why?...they were all under 18 hours of light 6 hours of dark...can a plant show sex before full twelve darkness?...please explainkiss-ass

Yes it is very possible, it is all up to the plant, the plant will decide when it's ready to find a sex. I find that especially true with outdoor plants. I've had dozens and now almost hundred of hairs on 1 of my plants for over a month now, and it's no where near time to bud down here

The plant is telling you that it's sexually mature, that's it. Nothing out of the ordinary here. It can still show sex and be in veg. Some people are in such a hurry that they don't even veg long enough for pre-flowers to develop before switching to 12/12.

Indoors it is possible. Usually it takes at least 6-8 weeks for the plant to mature enough to show.

I have a few plants that are about 6 months old. two have hairs and one has preflower balls. I keep them all as mothers...okay one daddy I guess and two mommies right now. I use all clones and I keep one hindu kush daddy to breed with when I feel like it. I'm thinking to cross it with my G13 but am indecisive about it at the moment.

yup some of SWIM indica's are showing flower under 24 hrs of light. 2Xsunblaze 48's now SWIM has a few strains that have been showing 80% of "Red" hair 4th-6th week of flower these are 10-14 week strains I dont understand that at all.

As long as you keep the lights at 18/6 you will not go into flowering.

This is good because now you have complete control of when you choose to flower! So, whenever you are ready you can switch the lights to 12/ 12 and Presto, flowering cycle.

Longer you veg on 18/6 = The bigger the plant = The more weed.

yea ive got four white widow clones that i took off my mom who is flowering right now...well all of the clones have tiny white hairs..and my lemon tree, so i call her, has hairs and has never had 12 hours of dark...all the pics are on my grow below...i have a three foot lowryder 2 plant too...unbelievable
