Showing female pistils early in vege

Hey guys a breeder friend of mine gave me some of his children he had no time for so I decided to go coco this run
Anyhow my seedlings are no longer seedlings ( has taken quite some weeks due to a early transplant into a large container ) but my plants are only really 8- 9 nodes tall , around 9 inches , I'v topped once to get things bushy but I'm already seeing female pistils , growing out of the new leaves and not really where they should be developing there sexual parts
It's heading to the end of summer here and days are more or less average 20-28 degrees feeding house and garden a&b @ a rate of 2.5 m/ltr

I'm worried with the shorter days are my plants going to flower and be actual bonsai plants or will autum and lower temps bring slower vege ,
While there little should I revert them back t vege and give them some extra hours after the sun goes down or just leave it be ?

You are mixing c and f, it's only a matter of time until someone thinks your days are below freezing, lol.

Are you going to finish inside? Will temps stay above 50f at night while in flower if you extend for a while? If so, use outdoor lights to extend a few hours.

Hahah sorry about the unit dilemma , the coldest it got here last winter and that was only one night was 13 degrees Celsius

It's been a gentle 21-23.5 degrees Celsius here at night of late , small few nights rain , however I see that as natures little flush for me so I skipped that and yesterday was my first full strength feed

There's still 3 weeks left of summer and at 6.59 pm it's still a very comfortable 24....

I was reluctant to finish indoor as I'v just packed up tent and all my equipment .

Was told to stop or fuck off . So I packed up and now I'm playing gardens outside..

For the week coming I was considering some extra hours in light to get em
Bigger , doubt using my 600 outside would be stealth but hahaha

I was going to just let me live inside in my Spare room for a week of extra vege , what do ya think ??

says alot about a breeder if they dont have time.
Can't fault breeder, exelent beans , fresh heavy and germed in cup of water in < 9 hours
However when I instantly transfered to rock wool and placed them in 11 litre buckets with coco / perlite 50 50

After 3 weeks of slow growth I went to the grow shop was advised cyco add basically nothing to there coco ,

Next day I fed and within a week they booted
Says a lot about the grower hehe
Still has me worried how small they are and how thy are ready showing pistil

Night interrupt might be an interesting one to try. Instead of adding x hours to the day you can also just give them a short burst in the middle of the dark period to keep them in veg

Yep. Over watered probably. I have trained myself to get a root ball first before I plug them into an 11 liter bucket. And then, 11 liters is not enough root space for a 4 foot plant. My next run I plant to bloom in a 6 gal bucket. Transplanting is your friend as any nurseryman can tell us.

Also, why use perlite with coco? To me it sorta defeats the purpose. Perlite holds water. I tried it, but went to fully draining hydorton and coco. That works great. Can feed every day. Full drains each day for good O2 dose to the roots.

Honestly I just wanted more aeration for a faster growth rate , I'm inexperienced and my first grow was terra and hydro clay balls , 2 diff systems were a handful first grow ever. From what I'v read and learnt from multiple soures that coco retains a good amount of moisture without water logging
And the brand of coco I'm using cyco Alrwady had trace amounts in it
I added more because I thought it would help with drainage and aeration

Cyco coco is not bad. One of the better cocos on the market. If your sticking with coco. Just stick with coco. If you can master coco its one of best mediums to grow in. Then after you get bored of coco then move on to hydro. You do not want to be jumping around with mediums.

I went the other way. Coco and hytroton, is really the best, and superior to DWC, to me. DWC I always had root rot and warm water problems. I start in Coco and switch to 50/50. You save a lot of coco that way, and it is all reusable. And the roots are up and protected in the media. I still treat it like Hydro. Pump up and drain down to res, ever day.

If you mix perlite in it gets yucky over time.

you can revert them back into veg when ever you want but you gotta be careful if ur gonna use perlite because its designed more for a stuff like fox farms

Yes, indeed. 3 major choices. And I have mixed them up, as well.

Are you going to take a rich, water retention media, with time released feed (Fox Farms) or;

a well drained drained media and feed every day, (coco, hydroton) or;

feed the system constantly in hydroponic? (WC, DWC, RDWC)

I got to say DWC does get expensive. Water chillers another added expense. Hydro tends to work best in the winters due to the MH and HPS blasting so much heat. Coco I feel works better in Spring and summer months if anything.
@Doer. I never liked timed release products such a pain of arse when dealing with pH and PPM or EC. How is your results with time release?

I am conservative grower tend to stay away from reverting back to veg state. I did that once reverted back to veg probably stress the plant out. Went hermies. At least you will have female seeds but no fruit.

I use coco and clay balls. Feed every day after the 6 inch root ball transplant. I have tried almost everything, except time release. :)

Time release is like the plague. Avoid it at all cost. I tend to be one set mind type of guy. So I will do just coco, just hydro, or just soil. My favorite is definitely the PROMIX.
