Yes, "very clean" is a good way to describe it. Glass also doesn't get hot.

I don't know what's up with Bayou billies glass,but people I know and myself have gotten burnt like a mother fucker from a glass piece..so yes glass gets hot

Never burned lips or fingers with glass. Regarding the conductivity, isn't glass an insulator? That being said, maybe I don't smoke fast enough and mine cools down between hits. Now, smoking out of a boiled crawfish... no heat there.

You are all extremely lucky. I just broke my glass bong and the new law came in about a month ago, no bongs for sale, no pipes, no bowls/cones nothing, you can still get bong bath though lol.

i was at specs yesterday and i saw this vodka imported from holland that is made to be built into a bong when you are done with the vodka...it gives you markings where to drill for the stem and bowl and everything! not to mention the bottle looks awesome on it's own
i guess what i'm trying to say is you can always build something to work exactly like the store bought product
