hey whats up man dont worry about the length it took to get back to me its all good i understand people have lifes to live hope you were busy for good reasons.
and hey i love piney and fruity tastes in herb they are actually mt favorite tastes. i was getting some powerplant they was so dam piney tasting and i loved it. and was the weight dry weight, lets see 294 grams is a lil over 12 ounces witch is shy 4 oz of a pound so ya i say you did a very well job.:clap:
the last grow i did last winter i harvested a about a qt oz shy of a half pound off 2 plants i think it was my 5th grow under a 600hps i was getting bigger and bigger yields each grow and im sure if i were still at it i could be getting a pound under 1 600. but i cant grow for a long while.
and i will be looking forward to the pics
Thanks for the kind words. 294g is actually 10.5 oz. I'm aiming for 13 this time around and hope to get up over a pound soon. most of what I've read about this strain says 1g per watt is easily achievable with the right pheno and a good environment but I don't think I've got one that will do that. I've still got 8 beans left though so maybe the monster is in there.

I'll probably post some pics when the lights come on tonight. Just started 12/12 today.

thanks alot mc purple, i am def going to take that advice.. so if u top at the second node, you end up with 4 tops? what if i topped at say 3-4 nodes, will it only produce 2??

are you sure its 10.5 i just did the math again and 294 divided by 24 is 12.25 either way it is a good yield.
if you yeilded only 10.5 oz it would be 252 grams

yes you will end up with 4 mabye 5 main tops if topped at the second node, if topped at the 3rd or 4th it could produce more i think but some will be a lil smaller than the others, you should look up UB topping methods to get 4 mane colas its a great read and good info

I see where we are getting mixed up here, an ounce is 28 grams.

Anyway, heres some shots of my new batch. I let them get a lot bigger before training them this time. I ran out of horizontal room last time but had tons of vertical room so I figured I'd let the get taller this time. I think I'm going to run in to crowding problems again though. They really went crazy the last few days and I should have started them a few days sooner. Oh well, I may just kill one off to make room if it gets too bad.

Barney's Farm Blue Cheese. I am a 3rd time grower, 1st time outdoors and 1st time LST. I only tied this one down 2 times, and only from the top. It's almost ready to chop!

If I like this smoke, I can't wait to grow this again! I am semi-guerilla growing and I wanted to keep my plants a short as possible. I only tied this one down 2 times, and it is really short, maybe 2 feet, but has 6 phat main colas. First time I have grown BF Blue Cheese, but it seems like it really responds well to training! WOuld be great for indoor cabinets!

I have no idea. Only my third grown, and first time every trying to tie anything, that is not my girlfriend, down. Maybe with the Blue Cheese I would have yielded more if I never tied down? I don't know. I started these inside under some CFLs, until they were about 6-8 inches tall. I then hardened them off in the sun for a couple hours a day for about a week.

So I got some ph upper and ph downer today, made my water around 6 to bring my plants down from 7.5 and 5mins after all the leaves on one of my plants curled down big time. Why is this?

yes its to late you add the perlite in with the soil before plants go in

that is odd, if the water was phed at 6 it should not have done that. did you have nutes in the water? and also what type of ph meter do you have like a digi pen or drops

There were no nutes in water, I bought the same exact stuff you have, I tested the water and made it @ 6 ph. So I have the drops to test my water and I have meter I stick in the soil that tells me moisture and ph lvl of the soil.

and your sure it read 6, drops are kinda hard to get an accurate reading, they should have not of done this with a pg of 6 going in what does the meter in the soil say
