Show Me What You Got LST?

April 4th,

Here's my hermi 4 weeks and 1 day of flowering. Picked a bunch of seeds off the bottem buds, I hope that's as far as they go.............

she/he is a beuty hardroc, did u ever decide on the DM reverse, and seeded bud isnt so bad it still kicks your ass just need to pick out the seeds. also i would just leave the seeds in theri as it grows they are easier to take out of dry bud and taking off seeds could cause a lil stress to the plant cuz your cutting, i would just pull any male sacs or male banannas off

That's the thing, there is not 1 banana, just seeds on the bottem buds, I just picked 'em out, I don't want the plants energy going into growing the seeds to maturity, instead of the buds.
The hydro store don't carry it here, and he said he won't order it for me cause he don't carry that line.
So I gotta order it myself. I will pick it up someday, so this don't happen again.
I'm still gonna grow it out, see what I get off "IT" plus I want my Blue Widow and Bubba Kush to veg longer. I did throw some bag seed in there for a 12/12 from seed experiment.

sometimes the bud will grow around the opend sac and u will never get to it. im sure therie wont be to many seeds if u cant see the sacs. i had to look at my plant for like an hour tryin to find the male parts. and the buds will still grow fine with some seeds in them, and that sux about the hydro man not ordering it for you bet that made u kinda mad, it would me but then again i have a short temper, but i would get some for sure to ensure no hermies or seeds. either way your gonna end up with some dank weed just a few seeds

whats up yall this is prolly the sweetest thread with all them bad ass picks!!! i got 11 plants started bout two weeks old in ffof inch tall on there 3rd node going on 4th.. most of em are anyways. ones going fucking nuts was in nute burn for a few days and came out of it and went butt fucking wild!!! i didnt add nutes but ffof has a shit load of great stuff in it as it comes!!! using cfls but my ? is how old or how tall should your plant be before you lst????? i tried a few but they seem a bit to small yet thanks for any input i get back!! happy growing

soohigh, u could start lst right now but i would wait till about th 5th or 6th node kinda depends if u want them really short too or if your lsting to widin the plants. im glad u like the thread to. also not everyone does this but i do i owuld wait to lst untill your in your final pot for the grow so u wont have to transplant and untie and retie and what not, and lst is really effective the first 2 weeks of flower also

Alright, been following this thread for a while and just thought I would post up my little BLUE MYSTIC. It vegged for 20 days and been flowering for 7 days now. Check out my grow !!! Its in a PC box 18x18x8 and has only 3 bulbs. 3/23w 100w equivalent 2-2700k 1-6500k for flowering and 2-6500k 1-2700k for vegging. I know its not anything crazy but im growing with what I can for right now.

looks really good there phase for you veg was your lights soft white, daylight or wat??? cause i could only find 6500k cfls on the ones i got it doesnt say wat they are 2500k or 6500k nothing

Veg lights were 2 daylight 6500k 1 soft white 2700k. Flowering are 2 soft white 2700k 1 daylight 6500k.

I keep a fan blowing in my room so that my plants are always moving, this will strengthen stems. I even need a lil more support in the 8th week here, My stoutest plant is now beginning to sag under the immense weight lol also when I was lst i usually untie my branches after a few days, week, once they harden up and keep their new shape that way they can blow in the breeze and strengthen. I guess i could also say i just scrog to make things easier... he he, we will see in about three weeks which method I prefer.

Hey guys sorry, been outa town... Anyways my biggest girl would have to be the SC, and I haven't actually measured her, but from the top of the siol to the top of the plant is about 14 inche, and from leaf to leaf about 20 inches wide. And that's guesstimating using the size of the pot, becuase I know the pot is 7 inches tall. I'll actually measure just for the hell of it next time I take them down.

i to keep a constant breeze on them also if your plant is sagging tie her up with some small poles to hold her up.
also i consider scrog a form of lst so if u do do scrog next round i will be glad to still have you here on the thread postin your stuff

thanks hooked u dont have to measure if u dont want i was just wondering about the sizr cuz pics dont really let you know the reall size like my plants look smaller on cam then in person for some reason

Here is my (almost) 8 week old Trinity. Chopped one top off last week and weighs in at 11g dry. can't wait for the final product.

lookin great MT, i want to do a scrog grow but it will have to wait till next winter when i do indoors, i am most likely getting a grower for my meds in summer

so I'm about two weeks into flowering. Do i cut my strings??? Any opinions?? will the stress of the ties lead to less yeild?? first pic is of Barney's Crimea Blue. second is of DNA L.A. Woman

u can if u want but i would wait a few more weeks till the stems harden up, also i dont really cut mine at all i find that almost always they lose the shape u had when the ties were on but thats me i leave them unless theri in my way all the time and no the strss wont lead to less yeild the plant is stressed for mabye a day or 2 right after it was tied after that theri is no stress bein induced to the plant thus LOW STRESS TRAINING. i would just leav the strings though. also plants look nice and healthy

mt which do you like and prefer most scrog or lst?? and why?? damn nice looking plants bud happy growing

well this is my first time growing but I think I'm making another scrog screen. It is nice because the screen I use supports my buds when they get heavier. it is a little akward to move them around a lot with a 2ft. x 2ft. screen attached to the pot but oh well.. the canopy is really nice and even whereas my lst is good, but not nearly that even. I also spent a lot more time trying to LST than with the scrog screen. you just set it and keep pulling the tops through different holes. so Easier access with the LST, not much support and with a plant that size with that many tops it gets a little wobbly I have two WW plants. one scrog, the other lst a little and topped so I will be able to comment in a month as the the quantity/quality/cola size of each. I'm thinking diff plants will like diff methods though so I'm not ruling out any method totally but I'm def doing more scrog and prob always lst my plants to some degree. cheers!

well like i said i consider a scrog a form of lst so u can keep posting here if all u do is scrog. i think i am gonna do an all scrog grow on my next indoor but thatwont be for awhile.
