hey, just found this thread. very cool. these are some picks of my very first lst attempt. actually this is the first time i have ever grown. 2 pure power plant and 2 cheese. 8 weeks of veg. i took clones from them twice. these pics are about 2 days old. i had just given them 18 hours of darkness and put them to flower. putting up a scrog screen right now. should have it in by tonight. My PPP's starting flowering faster than any strain I've done with a minimal stretch which makes for nice compact fruity smelling buds that finished around 7-8 weeks depending on pheno.

Awesome plants dude, I also did PPP for several of my earliest grows. You will NOT be disappointed, that strain is resilient and it seems you can't hurt it at times. Awesome choice for your first grow and beautiful looking plants. That's a really long veg time but you managed them perfectly. Looks like you have lots of space in there too Lots of good grows ahead of you!

What's your feeding plan? What kind of lighting do you have in there and how many watts?

thanks guys. they kinda got stunted a little along the way and had some problems so it took a while to nurse them back to health. but i've got them dialed in now and they seem to be really healthy. i switched them to flower about a week ago (a few days in that picture). they are in a 8x8 tent with 2,000w; only using 1000w right now. i also have a few uvb lights in the room that are on for about 4 hours of the cycle. will bump that up as time goes on. right now i have them on 12/12 under mh for the first week or 2 then i'll switch to hps. i setup the scrog net yesterday so i'm gonna try that out on these plants. i have some plants in veg that i am gonna grow as trees instead. gonna do a perpetual so they should be ready in about 3 weeks. i'll put them on the other side of the tent.

after this grow i'm changing som things around. getting 4x8 tents and gonna run 2 of them on a flip. 1 soil and 1 hydro. wanna try hydro out. also gonna run the lights dimmed to 600w with 600w bulbs. got those lumatek ballasts. running everything on a chiller. no a/c at all.

right now i'm running them in sunshine #4 with worm castings and a little dolite lime. when i make the switch i'm gonna try some out in coco; others in a mix of coco and sunshine; and then the rest in the same sunshine recipe. see which one i like best.

right now i'm running advanced 2 part with a few additives. also thrive alive b-1 red, cal/mag, and superthrive during varying stages of veg and bloom. when i get the new tents (order went out last week) i also ordered house and garden soil 2 part with some of their additives. then i'm going to be brewing some alaska humisoil tea. gonna be experimenting with those nutes and the tea. will use the advanced stuff in the hydro tent.

thanks for the kind words guys. any help is always appreciated. i'm here to learn as much as i can and i love experimenting with this stuff. my way of keeping myself from loving my plants to death is to grow more plants on different cycles. lol.
