I think I might be starting to find my rhythm for this CCOB training. The WoW is barely 18" tall, 18" diameter, and has 10 - 12 tops all at the canopy.

Wonder Woman (WoW): 27 Days 12/12
I removed all the wire ties (except for the 2 on the main stems) around the top ring of the cage to open the canopy back up a bit.

Pyramid Wembley (PW): 18 days 12/12
Due for some final light trimming to bud sites under the canopy. She has already had the major shoots/fans removed.

'Kush': 12 Days 12/12
She will be pruned later today to reduce the number of shoots. Some fan leaves will likely be removed also if they are attached to stems pointing down or out. It will be trimmed again in a week or so to remove bud shoots under the canopy, as it reaches the end of the stretch, but not any fan leaves.

LSD: 1 day 12/12

Flower Box: Group Shot

Notice the LSD had her 2 main stems pulled back down to keep them below the other shoots for a while. This gives all the others more stretching power and time for the main stems to catch back up instead of stretching beyond them. By the time they hit 20 days into flower they are usually almost done stretching, like the Wembley currently is.

wow + rep

Those plants look great, nice and healthy, they are supper bushy , may consider trimming a little, leaves that don't get light are not helping the cause.

Also remove those big fan leaves when you start to lay the plant over that way the branching will grow more even.

Looks great keep up the work!

i have to disagree with almost every thing you just said.
if a leaf ona plant is being of no use and the plant is not using it it will die off by its self. and removing the biggest fan leafs is like taking the plants biggest warehouse of food.

more healthy green leaf means more healthy big buds

I am trying to remove only bud sites below the canopy now. I remove them to thin down the total number of tops and then lollipop the lower bud sites (but not the leafs) from the stems I keep. It looks like 10 - 12 tops is what I am shooting for.

The Kush had 2 fan leafs removed yesterday with 2 bud sites and I now wish I would have left those fat fan leafs. Today I removed 2 more fan leafs from under the center canopy but only because it was the easiest way to remove the 2 immature bud sites next to them. I removed 18 - 20 other bud sites below the canopy today without touching the associated fan leafs. It looks like I will have about 9 tops on it.

This is what I removed yesterday. Neither of them were going to be able to catch up to the rest of the canopy because they were pointing down.

Here she is today before the pruning. This is my first attempt at modifying Hobbes' CCOB (Circle Crop Of Bud) method into a spiral technique. If it ends up working out I shall have to dub it the SCOB (Spiral Crop Of Bud). I am going to start planting them in the centers of my smart pots again for SCOB, instead of shifted to one side for CCOB.

And after the pruning.

looking great man, i like the plant that was re vegged 3 times, how long did you re veg take?

Well the last round took just over 2 months, she was last hacked down January 4. I realized I worded my post wrong, she's been flowered 3 times, re vegged 2 times.
