Should plant food dissolve into water without changing color?

Hey, I just put my plant food in water and i am not sure if the water should be clear or if it should be the color of the plant food. I put 3 ml of the plant food in 1.18 L of water because the directions were 12.5 ml of plant food in 5 L of water. Did i over-saturate the water or is it supposed to be light blue? Thanks in advance and ill do the +rep thing if you tell me how :]

it usually changes colour slightly. You should be using a ppm meter or EC meter for better accuracy than off-the-box instructions.

I use Fox Farm nutes and they drastically change the color of the water. Especially the Big Bloom. No reason to worry over this I'd say.

I use gh 3 part nutes and my mix for the flowering stage looks like fruit punch, peace and grow on
