I always keep my plants nice and bottom-dressed, even during flowering, and as long as it's potential new branches coming up later into flowering, which r often dying already, and naturally-yellowing leaves, u will be fine... Keeping your plants neat and clean below, helps them to thrive up on canopy side, because of no mold- or pest-related issues because lack of air-flow or dead or dying plant material taking up precious plant energy for nothing, in search of light it will never get to, but rather directed through the now more-opened up bottom areas to the top, where it really counts, which most often only helps everything out in a cannabis garden...
