Should it look like this? Comparing to others it seems too small..?

Hello dear growers!

As far as I researched I got nervous about my plant size.

Details about the grow room 60cm x 60cm x 115cm grow room.
Avg. temp. = 21 C , hydrometer sais = 50% on avg.
pH=6.9 (I will try to lower it!)
Seeds (All autos) - Onyx, Super Lemon Haze, Big Bud auto

Watering:
Every 3-4 days I water the plants - ~0.2l for each pot.

CFL and wattage: I use two warm cfls and two white (cold) cfls, summing up - 70W (I'm guessing I need more?)

Germinating seeds:

I didn't use the paper towel method, I put them straight into the soil. The soil was all set up. For seeds it took one week (~7 days) to see the light.

DIY CO2 generator

Yesterday 13.01.2015. I did make a co2 generator. Today it is already doing something.
Doing it the first time, cannot tell if it's giving ay help.

My concerne:

As you can see in the images, plants look ok I guess. But comparing to other journals, they are nothing. Plants are closing to second week. In the picture where you can see the size of ones plant (3.5cm), it is its 7th day - not including germinating period) in the wild.

So the main question - are my plants too small or not? If yes, what sould I do, what I've done wrong?

Need to get the lights closer, and use the sides of the cfl's instead of the ends

moisture meter = waste of time, it will lie to you

CO2 bottle = waste of time, better to have constant supply of fresh air

mirrors = waste of time, paint the wood with flat white paint

No two plants in the same pot.
Plants put out roots until they feel resistance, then they grow upwards. Pots might be too big, but they'll grow into them. Chillax.

That is not a plant, it just grew along with the original one. BTW, thanks for the reply! :)

Well the overall thing is light, check out my babies at 10 and 14 days old, https://www.rollitup.org/t/white-widow-ice-crystal-amnesia-600w.856375/ Yuhr ph is fine ideal is 6.5, Auto's usually develop their roots before shooting up so it might just be doing that, but no doubt stronger the light the faster and more developed growth, Yuhr plants are only a week or so from first set of true leaves so growth is going to be slow,
Damn, your plants looks awesome :) Just updated with one more 23w warm cfl.

Thanks a lot! :) Is the light cycle ok? I've seen that some even use 24/0 light cycle.

But what if I would get a plastic pot, half the size these pots are. I would cut the buttom off, making it as tube. Then put the plastic bottomless pot (tube) around the plant into the soil. Doing this I would make a smaller pot and when the plant would be bigger and stronger, I would get the tube out.

Would this work out or this would stress every living out of the plant and it would just die?

Don't do that

I agree with RM3,

Also with the other's that have posted replies here. You're on the right path, you just need to tweek a few thing's. Scrap the mirror's, adjust your lamp's, get them closer, add more CFL's, most definitely one plant/pot and get some dull white paint on those wall's. Also, you should have a fan on your seedling's if they are spindly. It help's beef up the stock's. Here's what mine look like at two week's. I like your setup!
How does your watering system work? How deep are those thing in the soil?

Hey Aigars,

The four drip taps sit on top of the soil and are adjustable. The reservoir is hung up close to the ceiling. I basically only use it when the plant gets too big to water it properly. Here's a few pictures of my setup. Get your lights closer to your seedling's, you won't believe how fast they will fill out. I hope this helps.

Up...

Hello again !

Some time has past, plants did grow, but now one of them have been the same for some time. Added the pictures. The both of them seems unusual, I guess it is something wrong.

ph is the same old 6.8-6.9, temp from 20 C - 22 C
Every day I let some fresh air into the growroom.
And I have put two types of light the warm cfls and the white ones as well.

I tested the watering, added more water, nothing changed, did not water them for 3-4 days, also nothing changed.

What could be wrong? Should I feed them?
