Should i wait?

Ok, i got a white widow that i deliberately didnt top or crop to see how big i could grow the top cola, the problem i have is the lower buds are all turning brown (pistils) but the cola looks at least a week away, the cola is 14" tall and about 4" in diameter, so should i just wait???
