Should I wait longer.....

I’m about 7 1/2 weeks in, and I’m not sure if I should cut.. I feel like she’s got a little more bulking up to do.

I have around 55-65% of my trichomes Turing amber now.

the other issue is due to a vacation coming up, if I wait it’s going to push me in to the middle or late November before I can cut.

honestly if that many of the chomes are amber u should havest .......the trichomes keep going after cut maturing during the dry and cure ........65% amber u are going to end up with some couch locking shit .......u want to harvest when u see milky........ 5-10% amber 70-65% milky 25-20% clear.......by the time it cures up u will be 25 30 amber 75 70 milky

i am not sure look at the bud pic most of the hairs are already tan and the sugar leaf is showing signs of yellowing with nurt burn (good man for pushing it)

what strain is it is the ? they will have the time frame some are early strains like 8 weeks

are you confusing the pistil hairs with trichomes? the hairs are 50% amber but are you using a scope to check the individual glands?

i looked up the strain
45-55 days for that breeder

here is the whole thing

but the others ones i sawl 55+ days

the only 2 bad things about pushing a plant is
1 the thc lvl drops as it ambers
2 u take a chance of hermi plant ........when the plant know it is not going to get pollen once it is ready if u give it the time and feed it will hermi on u ......i done this several times on auto flowers by pushing them passed the cut date breeders marked 110 days plant wrecked 2 harvest for me thanks to the pollen it made had to trash the whole grow .....the strain was yumbolt it should of only made 45 50 grams according to the breeders i got little more then 7 oz off it but it had seeds so all when to oil for vape pens

I’m right around 59 days right now so I don’t see their being a problem pushing these, I’ve also pushed NL5 before to 78 in some smaller grows; the problem I’m running in to is this plant is in a 15 gal pot and keeping it watered Correctly is hard, I have to check it every day to make sure she doesn’t dry out too fast.

Today I started my flush phase using overdrive and I’ll switch to plain water late next week.

ive never had a plant herm on me in my entire life and ive pushed them so far i ruined a crop before. the leaves were so far gone they were crunchy and not 1 seed. probably some sketchy autoflower genetics.

a common misconception with advertised flowering times is people start counting from the day they flip their lights to 12/12 but its actually a countdown from the day you see physical buds forming. Also, those timelines are an average and dont account for all phenotypes. if a sativa/indica hybrid's offspring has more of the sativa characteristics it will flower for longer

This late in the game a late herm really isnt going to cause a problem. Even if pollinated today he wouldnt see a seed
