should i use this plant bulb??

60 watt "plant light" from GE.

bulb is type A and blue

will this be worthwhile on my plants?

btw growing with cfls right now wondering if this would be a good addition

i would stick with the CFLs your using and if you want to make additions dont add any of those GE plant lights. there just soft/blue incandescent bulbs. they would work for veg only and they would triple your power usage if you doubled your light with them. if you think you need more light i would go to lowes or home depot and get some y splitters for bulbs and double your CFLs. you could put at least two more CFLs in for the same wattage as the GE light. Incandescents also tend to put off much less intense light than do CFLs and of course HPS and MH.

A lot of the plant or grow lights advertised in stores are really incandescents. Make sure not to use incandescents.
