Just a little update, I've been using only lake water for regular waterings and the girls are thriving! getting ready to go outdoors after this damn cold weather stops. I grabbed the water on a nice calm day... it was crystal clear. I then let the 7 gallons sit for a day or 2 and also let some bubble stones go for a day before using it.
Should I use lake water for my plants?
