should I use a 150w hps on my autos now or wait?

I agree I would run both CFl for side lighting and 150w for tops. I grew one aut under a 150w got 1 1/2 ounces of it. 150w is what I'm running on my current grow and with lst training on autos you'd get more of a yield

ok thank you for the reply. I think I will start the hps friday. My plants will be 2 weeks old.

My thought is this: Light figures in as the most important thing when growing. You can't damage them with more light. It takes a ton of lumens to bleach them out of their green look. Expense and heat are the two negatives in using more light. One of the best ways to get more usable material is to introduce more light. Both together will work just fine at any time.

Yep, that worked for me, I couldn't believe how much fsater my plants grew in my tent. I initially used carboard box which I painted with flat white paint, even that made a difference. Good advice garden420, imo.
