ok, this is my first grow. so far its going good a few problems but other than that its going very well. my question is my plant is getting way to big for they current pot that its in.(i think the pot is only like a 8 inch pot) The roots r starting to show at the very bottom where the drainage holes are. i actually just bought a brand new pot today at walmart (12 inch pot) but im afraid to transplant just because i do not want to kill it. the plant is just now showing its female parts. i want to transplant it bad because i want this thing to get a whole lot bigger. should i go ahead transplant or leave it be.. i need expert advice. let me know.. thanks guys..

If your plant gets root bound it will grow at such a slow rate due to your plants roots limited space to spread & feed.

1gallong of dirt that your plant will grow through out her whole life. If she's at 5feet by the time you harvest she should be in a 5gallon pot. Make sense?

Your roots need tons of space.
