If you add weight by growing it will learn further and when it rains it will lean even further....

The short answer is YES

Yea cheers, the rain is never an issue, i dont let them get wet, that would cause bud rot,
On this end it is very hard to get a 14 foot tall plant out of the rain. Also rather difficult to tie up the buds as the planting is on a steep slope.

I got worried about bud rot and cut on this past Monday and everyone said to early and I messed up.
All because the rain has beaten it down and it wouldn't stand back up so I cut it before a week of rain.

Anyways the hairs were still kind of white with red tips, trichomes looked red when light shines through.
Cut it, shook my head whole time thinking I messed up cutting "3 weeks early".
Nope
Hairs finished maturing about Thursday. They are more sugar covered now then when I cut(court be the rain dried up to) and the first bud got dry enough yesterday to smoke it stuck to my fingers from stickiness, smells like a tropical fruit bowl and gold cigar inside and buzz that made me pull over yesterday.

Point of all that is this.
If the buds have went through swell and the little sac below has went back down and not swelling anymore the full cycle is over and time to harvest.
This is just my opinion but I think people wait way to long and that is why end of harvest issues arise because the plant is dying and all its natural defenses are gone. Drying bud on the plant when it gets wet, just like nsy plant matter, instantly starts to rot. Bugs come in for decomposition. Natural cycles happen.

But again my bud was 3" thick and dense when I cut and so sticky it would leave a resin pull string when I released the bud.
So if this is what homegrown is about it sure shows how bad the commercial ops are screwing up the product before it gets to us.

Sorry really high and rambled. But all of this, from everyone, is subjective to what each person is experiencing in their 3' universe.
