Try both, only when you think it's ready cut some whilst giving water for 4 days.
I agree 97% with the folks above but I want to empty its system of any nutrient which I've proved to myself exist but I accept that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad I'm just not risking it for the sake a few days.

If I was unsure I'd check the trics on the calyx with a loupe for confermation.

Leach regularly to avoid salt build up. Pre harvest flushing is bro science
The plants naturally use less food at these later stages of flowering, so reducing feedings is a good idea regardless if you flush or not to avoid toxicities.
