So I’m growing in a 2x3 tent for a closet grow and just recently completed my first harvest, yielded 50g/plant (3 plants, 5gal pots) and grew under a 150w Qb and a 110w blurple. I bought another 200w qb to pair with the 150w qb to increase wattage for flowering (and still would like to increase that some more but only buying equipment as I can) bringing the total wattage to 350w for a 6 sqft area. So these lights don’t include uv or ir but I DO have an extra 100w qb that includes both of those things and was wondering if it’s worth it to sacrifice the 50 watts for the uv that the plants would be getting? Swapping the 150w qb (no uv no ir) with the 100w qb I have laying around that does have the uv and ir included. Just curious what’s more important the watts or the uv supplement the plants would be receiving? I also plan on buying a better light after this grow is complete. Probably a SF4000. The boards I have now are maxsusun PB1500 and the PB2000 I got them at great prices, it fit my budget at the time. Just trying to understand more about uv and it’s importance to these plants in contrast to the watts. But also am wondering if I did just leave the lights how many watts of Uv would be max or too little to supplement in the grow tent, if buying a separate bulb for supplemental lighting? Hope this all makes sense to somebody out there, lol. Thanks in advance.
