Should I run my AC to the lower part of the tent or leave it at the top

I know heat rises and all, but should I move it or leave it. I just set up a grow tent with a 400 in it and I have 2 1000's outside of it. I have AC ducts run all over, one is at the top 6" portion of the 4x4x8 tent, does it matter where it goes in at or no. I have a online fan and carbon filter at the top hanging in the corner also so all the hot air is being sucked out....but the AC in port is 6 inches from my filer. Any input?

I have some great pics, any way I can get em off my phone on here or I have to upload from my computer?

Keep it at the top, my reasoning.... The cold air would drop passed and through the hot air that is higher up, thus cooling it as it falls to the bottom. Bc like you said, hot air rises. If it was on the bottom the cool air would most likley stay down there. Just my thoughts.

If you are exhausting, I would put it low on the opposite side of the exhaust. That way it pushes the hot air up and out the exhaust. I set mine up that way using a controller, C02 and a electric damper and I'm maintaining rock solid temps as well as completely exhausting the room about every 5-7 minutes.

Agree! Cold air is heavier than hot air.
Ponder this: A home is actually designed properly for the heating system and not the A/C. A home designed for A/C would have cold air input and hot air returns at the ceiling level. :)
