Should I pull it?

I have one that seems to be done growing after 5 weeks! The trichomes are 30% amber that's all I'm willing to Sacrifice going for more cloudy than amber this will be my first harvest ever tho I have 5 other plants along the way, also the largest bud stopped being sticky and smelly is this a red flag? Should I pull sooner than later?

Google Cannabis Flowering Stages and read 2 or 3 different sites info...about 45min work. It will help you a lot in understanding where you are at.

The trichs there now are not important. Stages of growth to maturity/finish then trichomes will matter.

Thank you! Where should I look? It's the same on the calyxes
Yeah that’s a better indicator. The pros will go just off the look of the whole plant and argue trichomes aren’t a good judge since you can’t see inside the bud.

another bit of info: This is up for debate but a good chunk of people here will say flowering doesn’t start until you see the Pom poms. Which is usually 1-2 weeks after you flip your light schedule.

It's crazy when you google harvest ready all you can find is info about trichomes lol this was a random strain from a bag so I have no base to go on but very interesting I've been calculating since light change

They’re amber because of something you’ve done. Or that you’re not doing. Either way there’s no way that plant underwent natural ripening. Give more grow details please.

I tend to go heavy on the nutes but other than that its a soil pot in with my hydro set up it was just an experiment and was running out of room, I have been cheating and giving plants cha ching just to see how they react along with a lot of other fox farms products ph is at 5.5

I hardly ever recommend revegging but I’ll make an exception here.

first run of an ortega grew slow in the winter and took 9 weeks to flower, and the second run which i harvested 2 1/2 weeks ago was finished in 7

Less is more.

Going heavy ain't going to help do anything other than cause problems

No.. its not ready.. looks like it needs 4 more weeks or so... and quit pinching the buds to smell them..lol.. im only saying this because this is what can cause amber trichs..
I have a friend who does this. He's convinced his weed is done at 7 weeks from flip and he acts like I'm insane for growing 12+ weeks lol

I like to keep some larf at the very bottom (like so) for this purpose so I don't hurt my weed any more than I already have
