Should I or should I not trellis outdoor plant

I was just going on bud size. Looks like they have a good way to go. Of course Id chop them early if they are threatened by the weather.

I chop most of the time when all trichomes are cloudy.

I'm in the camp of not seeing a reason not to net large plants. It would give me peace of mind about late autumn winds when branches are getting bendy.

That's a good bit south from my latitude that's why I mentioned auto,s, we're a small island in the middle of the ocean, high humidity, rain and cloud are the norm, we do get the occasional hot clear sky periods but a summer can pass and rarely see the sun.
If it works for you then do it def. I just hate autos personally.

I don't think I've tried auto tbh, if I have I'm unaware of it, can it taste as good as a photo period.
What is it that you hate about it ?
I've got a 5 pack of caramel cream from sweet seeds they've been in the fridge for years?
Maybe if I tasted a nice bit or seen some well grown in Scotland I'd be more enthusiastic about trying it.
I will get around to putting they seeds out, when I'm out and about fishing I'm always looking for a place that ticks all the boxes, crikey it's not easy to find a secure spot, facing south with a source of water near it.

Cheers SD

Mostly because of the small yields. I dont want to waste time with a few oz here and there I want to get pounds off of each plant.
I have family ties to the orkney islands and skye.
I can imagine its rough growing there.

OK I can understand that, it's a lot of work and time if you're not getting the rewards.

It's a small world, it must be near impossible to grow outside in Orkney or Skye the summer is only around 6 weeks long lol
What they do have in Orkney is the best wild brown trout fishing in the UK, i visit Orkney once sometime twice a year for the trout fishing it's amazing!
