Should I harvest right now or wait a little longer? suggestions? (NOOB)

my first real grow, i have three plants but i harvested one already because it looked like it was getting worse too fast. I over-nuted, over-watered to try to get rid of the nutes, then i found out my soil was acidic at 5.0 so i kinda flushed them, and used a small amount of ph up in the water, i also let some of the tops get too close to the light for a week before i got a bracket but thats fixed, and i waited too long to flower so yes i messed up pretty bad but i still got something... i checked the trichromes and most are milky but also some buds are younger than others, im not sure if it has a little more time, im sure my next grow will be much better but i want to know what to do suggestions as far as how to end this grow would be appreciated these are two different plants. but im like 2 months in flowering now at this point. one is looking pretty shitty, it seemed to have got locked out faster... should i leave one in longer? its late now but i was also wondering if i shouldve chopped of more branches or new sprouts that werent gonna produce much by the time the the more mature parts were.... any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you in advance

they dont look anywhere near ready m8, look over ferted too, I'd feed them @ 1/4 the strengh you are feeding them now for a week or 2 yet, they still have a way to go yet tho, what are the strains?

its the same strain called Dead Head OG, i was wondering cause i cloned them a while back and have some about 17 inches that i topped so i want to get those in the tent soon, i9 want to grow more efficiently... i also however tried to do this by eye to an extent so i could get confident of growing or whatever but i realize its a lot of science of course... im like Jesse and i need a Heisenberg lol.... but i will be measuring ph and nutrient amounts much more now, but the trichromes on the biggest buds that are there seem opaque, should let them all wait it out? i overwatered for a while i might have root rot at least at the bottom of the pots... ive been letting it dry out for the past 3 days... but its still wet and inch down... thanks for the response, more would be appreciated!

i just dont think you gunna get much 'bud' at all m8, maybe on your next grow start out with your nutrients alot lower, ie quarter strengh as to what the bottle says, then gradually raise the levels week by week, i rarely ever reach full strengh and still find you can grow some pretty nice plants...

Trim all those dead leaves and feed nothing but water for two weeks than only use bloom. Those things are burning up bro. Flush them right away,

thank you for your responses, but now my main question is what would i do with my clones that are 17 inches tall under a smaller light and i just have this 60 inch small tent with a 150w light tent for flowering... i shouldnt just move on?

no cause those are not ready i mean you will get something to smoke on but then it is yours u can do what u want with them...

one thing i cant seem to find on websites is, do the hairs normally start to grow that much before the buds get bigger?

What do you mean? The 'hairs' or stigmas as they are called come out of the calyxes and those are what comprise the 'buds'. A bud is just a bunch of individual calyxes, and each calyx typically has two stigmas (their purpose is actually to catch pollen). When a plant starts to flower you'll see clusters of stigmas protruding from their calyxes, and as flowering progresses the calyxes will become more numerous and they will swell up (as the buds grow).

Once you harvest and the buds begin to dry everything is going to shrink considerably, including the stigmas. I don't know if any of that answers your question.

ur 17 inch clones can either be topped or LST'ed. personally u cant go wrong with LST training ur ladies and its always a win/win for the plant and the grower. the big plants need flushed with straight up ph'ed water..no joke. u can almost see the fire comming out of them they r so hot!!

It sure does seem that there is some insect damage in some of those pictures. I'd check the bottom of some of the "bad" leaves to look for eggs/bugs.

I'd let them go if I were you.......I don't think you'll be happy with the quality at this point. Newbie's often cut their plants way to early, even if they are in poor health. Unless you are anxious to start up a crop again, BE PATIENT and let them develop more.

Holy shit man, with all that other damage i did (overwater, over nute, let plants get too close to light, low ph) i didnt notice the mites settling in.. well it's definitely time to call it with this one i think as i have two plants left of the three and one is going downhill fast, im thinking of putting the one that looks bad outside and spraying it and just seeing if i can get it to pick up but i dunno...

The buds look like they dont really have mites but a fair amount of the leaves do, i actually have a 60-100x microscope and im not seeing any mites just their shit and eggs on the leaves... im thinking about trimming all the leaves and just trying to save the main nugs that look savable and putting them in a tuperware container in the freezer overnight to make sure no mites are living on them... good/bad idea? ive been reading up on what to do about mites during the harvest for the past hour... thanks again for the response(s)!!!

what a dissapointment though, i said its my first real grow because my actual first grow i started out with clones from a dispencary that were infested with root aphids and then i got attacked by spider mites, funny thing is i got a hot shot pest strip but too late but it did protect these plants for the three months it had left but it ran out and the mites came back and got this grow... fuck i feel discouraged...

anyone get mites indoors that dont make webs?
