Should I harvest early?

I am growing Northern Lights Auto by Seedsman.
I have two plants going in flowering now, one is doing beautiful, no problems at all but my second plant isn’t too well. Few nutrient defecinces and I tried to fix it but sadly she isn’t coming back especially as it’s been in flower for around 5-6 weeks. Just wanting to know if you think I should chop her down as the issue is only spreading higher up the plant, or should I wait it out and keep trying to rectify the issue? I know this late into flowering there isn’t much I can really do especially with an auto but any advice, opinions and suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you

I would leave it why kill it now, you don’t have Mold that i can see. Mine sometimes do that in later flower and usually smoke fine. This pic is Cheese XXL Auto couple weeks before i harvested and the leaves were turning way before this. Why cut?10564520-9538-4FA6-B85B-4DDA77546736.jpeg

Very good point. Ok I shall leave it and just keep trying to keep her under control. How long do you reckon it has left?

I usually wait until the hairs recede and buds swell. With autos though it’s a little trickier as the trichomes don’t always go amber as the plant changes, sometimes taking longer. This year I used a microscope but a good indication is the lack of of water it’s drinking/hairs receding Away and buds swelling. Also I would pull all the dead leaves before they decay. Good luck I bet it will smoke nice when done. A good couple weeks anyway if you want a knockout smoke as opposed to a racy high if that makes sense.

cheers mate! Hope she is good as well! First time having Northen Lights so I am very keen. If it’s not too much to ask could you just let me know if pics if you think my second plant is almost ready? I know I need to try and tell by the trichombes but just wanting some other people’s opinions. Cheers man!

Haven’t done any training on my second plant. I just pushed down a lot of fan leaves during veg to get more growth from the sides and it paid off very well as you can see as the side nugs are growing beautiful. Just wanting to know how long till I can chop her and roll it up ;)

Tasty looking!!!! I like my bud to hit hard and wipe me out. I leave mine until the white hairs are shrunk and it’s really swollen (you’ll know when it happens) I bet it would smoke fine now but another couple weeks at least If you want to maximize yield. If you cut too soon those buds will deflate when drying. If you wait a couple more weeks you’ll have nice hard nugs.

Much the same I love being wiped out as well lol! Anyways yes I would prefer a bigger yield with density in the nugs. So hopefully 2 or 3 weeks and then it will be time to chop. Cheers man!

Make sure you have airflow, take those old leaves off from the bottom of the plant, that will make even more airflow available to the plants, and i recommend you to wait 2-3 weeks if it don't get mold will be worth it, because buds will get way denser and mature. Just make sure to have airflow otherwise if the issue spreads around the buds will taste shit and can do bad to your lungs

Hey man just an update. Chopped down the plant which looked unhealthy and letting it dry now. Just wanting to know if you think my second Northen Lights auto is ready to be chopped. Flushed it for around a week now and leaves are starting to mostly discolour now. More and more red hairs as well. Unfortunately I don’t have a microscope so I can’t tell when it’s properly ready :(

If that's a deficiency it's caused by over feeding. That plant is burnt to a crisp.

No idea how it’s overfed. Been flushing for over a week now with straight PH water and before that I was just using organic seasol fertilisers. Look at the old pics. The plant was green and fine. When I started flushing is when the leaves all started changing colour my dude

That's Good info. No, leave it go. The plant is stealing nutrients from the leaves to finish the buds. Let it.

Thank you bro! Can still see new growth on buds with new while pistils forming which is fattening up with buds with swelling. I was thinking that this weekend I should harvest? Can supply more pics but I’m really not too sure. Top Buds are feeling hard which is good, lots of red hairs but still new pistil growth is forming and I want the maximum yield I can get but not sure when to chop because I cannot see the trichomes
