Should I go with AN?

Ok so currently im working with humboldt nutrients organic line. I have 2 600w lights set up and yield roughly an ounce and a half per plant. Im thinking on switching over to AN and give it a shot. Reading I get mixed reviews from they are over priced, buds tasted bad, to they worked wonders and improved my over all yield. Ok so has anyone had experience with them? If not worth it ill stick with humboldts line, just hate having to get those nutes special ordered lol. Any advice welcomed. Happy Smokin

you have to know how to use them properly, and they only truly work with other AN products..... i use them for hydro growing, i use organic for soil....just because it makes sense.

personaly i love them for hydro growing, they can overwhelm soil grows so i stick with my AFF organics and super-soil for that.

Ok so they dont mix well with other lines? Good to know that lol. And uhh currently im mainly soil i do have 2 dwcs going but im still working on it. But while it work well with soil?

I dont agree with the statement that they dont work well with other nutes. Ive been running AN Mother Earth Tea half strength with Dyna-Gro Pro-Foliage, voodoo juice, and Pro-TekT all at half strength, and gotten awesome results.

Kinda figured most nutes stack well with others...but as for running straight with AN is it good? The grow shop i go to they aint really big fans of AN they say its all hype and basically "name brand" but i know with anything some plants do better with certain nutes then others

I ran straight AN - mother earth tea and voodoo juice both full strength, and they did very well; but when I combined the Dyna-Gro with it, it was noticeable that it was veging even quicker.

Look at the main ingredients on AN products and most are the same ingredients with different percentages.. so I started looking at percentages and Dyna-Gro Pro-Foliage is high in N which really boosts growth. I also got the Pro-TekT because the silica helps boost strength and girth overall.

Hmmm good to know...im thinking on slowly building up my AN collection when my humboldt stuff runs out...did like 3 cycles with the stuff was pleased but want to get even better. Currently doing a mix of 3d organics...first time run...and some humboldt. So far so good

they can work with other stuff if you know what your doing with the nutrient needs of the plant. the only reason its hard to know whats going on is AN doesn;t dosclose whats actualy IN their product. you prighty much have to figure out whats in it by what it does as 50% of the ingredients aren't even on the label.

after thinking back a couple years to what humboldt organic. they were awsome back then and there still awsome. if humboldt is what you know then stick with them. i would suggest getting oneness, prozyme and ginormous when your current line-up runs out. together there easily as good as most AN products and MUCH cheaper.

If you do go with AN, definitely splurge for the voodoo juice, it makes all the difference in the world! Im planning on picking up bud candy, nirvana, and overdrive for flowering and Ill be mixing it with the AN mother earth tea bloom, pro-tekt and dyna-gro bloom. check out my journal if you want to keep track of how it works.. this is an experimental mix, but so far so good!

I run AN, GH, technoflora, and GH being the lowest producer of the three. but AN and tech are toe to toe and the tech/bc is half the price,
the AN has a higher PH drift wheres the tech/bc is rock solid and water is crystal clear. as for how far Ive taken AN ive gone all the way
full line was insane the cost and ph issue and slime was bad, but the yields were good. if you do go AN just get the G/M/B big bud/B52
is all you need and its way cheaper.

Working with Micro, Grow, Bloom on my Soil Grow my lady loves me for it bright green shiny leaves nice strong stem and a very very nice smell coming from her all the time Can never go wrong with AN

So basically what im getting is the only bad is the cost...well i know i droped quit a bit of money on the Humboldt Nutrients line and still didnt get the whole collection....just looking for something different...cost really aint a problem

Oh another thing...AN soil or hydro? And if hydro will dwc be ok
