Should I Get An iPhone 4?

My current phone is ridiculously shitty, I think it's time for an upgrade. I've had my eye on the iPhone 4.

Somebody here have one? How do you like it?

Anybody else have any other cool phones?

Everyone i have spoken to says your better off getting a deal on the iphone 3 because the 4 is having quite a few problems. You probably have your heart set on an i phone but if you get a chance, check out the new Droid X from verizon.

Yeah my family is saying the Droid is the better phone too. I'll look into them both.

Whats the coolest thing you can do with both of em? I really don't know very much about the droid... That would be easier though, that's the service I already have.

someone i know got one for a present and they hate it...it drops a rediculous amount of calls and i noticed theyre slower than the 3Gs

So fuck the iPhone 4, it seems the 3gs are better? Is it essentially the same phone with the face talk or whatever the fuck that is? That shit is useless to me anyway, so if that's all that really comes might as well just go with the 3g.

I've seen a few of the bugs/glitches from the previous models being fixed or updated for the new one. Folders for the applications and other apps running in the background while you multitask, but it sounds like it's got too many other issues...

How is that even POSSIBLE? It runs on DOUBLE the amount of RAM... and it has a BRAND NEW 1 GHZ apple A4 proccessor.... buddy... are you retarded? It's EASILY TWICE AS FAST as the 3GS.

If Im spending that amount of money, Id buy a new computer period. Its only a phone and verizon does have as many if not more apps than Iphone. My phone calls,texts,pics,video,mad apps and gps. Wi Fi enabled too. What else is needed for a phone. If you want a computer get one. Iphones are over rated.

I am an ORIGINAL iphone user.

I had the Iphone 2G before it was even in Canada (through eBay, and unlocked)... then I bought the iPhone 3G, and the 3GS, and now the iPhone 4.

The phone is perfect.

I have a 3g. I would upgrade to the 4 if everyone I knew had it so I could actually use the video chat feature. That's really the only thing about it that would make me want it. However, I only know 2 people who have it, and I'm not really interested in voice chatting them. lol

my wife has the iphone 4 and loves the thing. i've got a 3 but when i can upgrade you can bet that i will have the 4.

Most phones can internet tether nowadays man... are you living in the stone age?

You can take a laptop that has no internet connection whatsoever, plug your ipod cord into your computer.. and then to your iphone.... and you can use your iPhones 3G signal as your laptops internet... or if your connected to wifi you can tether the wifi connection to your laptop.

Most phones can do that man... even my old nokia could.... And why does the iphone need to advertise its features? It's more fun to play with them yourself.

OK so I'd have to switch to the service, so what's the up front cost gonna be like?

I checked apples site and ran through the details, from what I got it's gonna be $199 for the phone and about another $80 for the service monthly, is that right? Totaling about $280? How much do you pay a month for your plan? Basically, is it worth the money?

In your opinion, what are the best features the iPhone has to offer?

Hows the charge on the battery? My current phone blows with battery life, that would make a huge difference to me!

How are the camera/video features?

I'm not really ever in a situation where I would use that. How much does that feature cost? You can just set your phone next to your laptop and broadcast the signal and use that signal to use the internet on your laptop, am I getting that right? That would probably be pretty useful in certain times, but I can just drive through town and pick up a bunch of open internet connections if I really needed to.
