Should I flush everyday for 7 days or one watering and chop after 7 days?

At Flushersparadise™ we're going to concentrate on all the pro-mythology responses.

"Is this ready yet?" ...An emphatic YES every time!

Make sure you flush before harvest AT LEAST 14-21 days!

Feed your plants molasses for an EXTRA frosty sugary kick!

Defoliate until there's no fans left!

Drop a nail or spike in that stem...have a drill? You're on the right track!

Have a deficiency? MOAR CAL MAG!

Have a toxicity? MOAR CAL MAG!!!

Yield, THC, and Terpenes
The flower weight, THC and terpene content of cured flower were determined for each flushing period. The data were analyzed statistically to determine whether the numerical differences in the data were due to the treatment. Overall, there were no significant differences between treatments for flower weight, THC or terpene content (Figure 2a-c) (P < 0.05).

Mineral Content of Flowers at Harvest
Flower samples taken the day before harvest were analyzed for content of essential plant nutrients. Overall, there was no significant change in the mineral content of flower as a result of different flushing treatments (Figure 3).

Taste and Smoke Characteristics of Flower
Cured flower from Cherry Diesel was evaluated by a group of industry experts for flavor and smoking characteristics in a blind taste test. Overall, the duration of the flushing period had no impact on flavor, smoothness of smoke, or color of ash (Figure 5a-d) (P < 0.05). The seven-day flush period had the highest “bad” rating (21.1%) and the 0-day flush had the highest “great” rating (16.7%). Most panelists rated the flavor of the samples as “okay” or “good”. The ten-day flush had the highest “okay” ratings at 48.6% and the 0-day flush had the highest “good” rating at 47.2% (Figure 4a).

Been wondering this for a minute. When I see or read flush for 7-14 days i get kinda confuse.. Does that Means Run ph'd water thru my plants everyday for seven days? Or water as needed for 7 days? Im trying to flush a 9 week strain staring on day56.
I read all the replies, but still confused on flush frequency. I water my plants weekly. Does 2 weeks of flushing mean that I flush on the two regular watering days prior to harvest or does it mean that I should flush every day for 14 days prior to harvest? I have had grows in the past where I water every day with half strength nutes then just switched to water for the last week of watering. Thanks!

Flushing saves nutrients. That's the best you'll get out of the technique. So flush for as long as you want to save nutrients.

The risk is that it's not ripe at the end of a flush when it was stressed and malnourished.

If your only watering once a week you have bigger fish to fry than flushing….

What's your reasoning for flushing?

What size pots are you using to water weekly?
I’m currently watering outdoor twice a day on larger aerated pots
No idea why you would flush but if you are growing indoors you sound light deficient

@PShoe, hi and hope your day is going well.

MC is not only for cannabis. It is manufactured for gardens such as tomato’s, etc.
My intake is that if your want to flush, go for it, but it probably isn’t necessary.
I feed with MC and before I cut for harvest, I only flush once, I also grow outdoor in pots.
My thoughts only on this subject, not scientifically presented.

Take care and don't forget to phone sometime.
