I would flip it if I were you. Cfls don't Penetrate the canopy very deeply and those plants will quite likely double in size on you after you switch the photoperiod.

The longer you wait, the more they will stretch regardless of any topping/fimming. Also, that plant in the back right corner looks to already be too big for its environment! Flowering now and use a couple of 5-6k bulbs directly above the tops that might grow too high

Unless you can do like 6cfl bulbs per plant at several angles I would maybe invest in a bigger light. With your setup it my also be better to train them to be short and bushy.

Man you better surround those baby's with 2700K. Home Depot has 40w 2700k cfl's if u look closely among all those bulbs, way better than the 23watt as far as lumens. But their 10bucks a bulb. I took the pinch because I had the fever bad and wasn't going to be deterred. Be ready to adjust, adjust and adjust again. This will be your nemesis a few months down the road but stay committed. I screwed my hangers to the ceiling and it looked like a woodpecker orgy when it was finished. Seriously I had a true 250w on top and as many as 16 of the 40w cfl's dangling 2-3 inches around the sides...wherever there's a dark spot plug another one in. Amazon sells a 4 bulb holder cheap that helps tame the sea of cords. Do it when their better, a week to these plants means a lot.

Iv had much better luck, bigger buds & less power consumption with 23w cfl's. I have tried many (9w/18w/23w/28w/40w/67w) and 23w seems to be the best because of its small size you can literally flood each cola with 1 bulb each. At this point tho, any light would be beneficial for him. The most important thing with cfl' is getting as much light as possible into the smallest area possible. If you have big 40/67w bulbs, they will be almost useless without a directional reflector and even then, the reflecto and bulb is so big its almost impossible to narrow down the footprint for more light compared to 23w bulbs.
