hi im wondering if these are ready to be flowered yet or how long i should wait? they are on about week 5-6 atm

Whenever you want man. Theres no rules on how long to veg for.. You can flower a seedling don't make a difference... Besides the yield

whats an average height to start flowering? for decent yield

when you have a nice fat stem to support all those frosty nugs. i flowered too early, imo, in my current endeavor, and growth suffered, and i had no real stretch. i usually wait until the stem is the size of my index finger.

In flowering keep in mind that the plant may triple in size. Big yield, IF.. Big light

With CFLs I am not sure if you should wait or not..I say this because the longer veg the bigger the harvest, but only if you have the lights to support larger plants..which you do not...so you will need to keep them small if you want to get much off of them...and you really should do some LST..it can only increase yield and it definitely helps to use those CFLs as efficiently as posible. You will never be happy with your results til you get some real lights though.
