should i drill holes in my pot even if im growing indoors?

i heard you should drill holes in the plants pot so it doesnt drown but i dont want water to get all over my floor! what should i do?

yea you should but i would put a pan under it or something it will leak.

Yes you should Cigar. The roots can only spend so much time in water before they'll rot, they need air. I've grown plants in hydro standing water (no air) and the buds are very small. Drill a half dozen holes and after you water make sure to dump the water out of the tray so the bucket drains.

just buy a pot with holes in it? Weed likes to get watered then drain and watered again. but if the water has nowhere to drain, it will drown.

Water gives it life, and after the water is gone, the roots expand to find more water.
