Wondering if it's too late for training. I have topped all 4 plants, done some defoliation. Just got them all transplanted and got all the flowering plants hanging to dry. So I try some lst on the two in the back ? Looking for some opinions, hoping to flip to flower in a couple weeks because of height. Tent is only 6 feet tall with a pitched roof. 20220311_215947.jpg20220312_081816.jpg20220312_081814.jpg20220312_081811.jpg20220312_081807.jpg

Back two plants are Jordan of the Islands Blackberry Breath from seed, front right is God's Super Skunk x Chernobyl by Jordan of the Islands from clone. And front left is a clone of a 90s og kush mom that a coworker started from seed.

It's never too late to LST, unless the branches have hardened off and you can't get them to bend.

You recommend I do them all? I have done lst before on previous grows, should I just try and pull all the tops down ?
Do whatever you feel comfortable with. Pulling down the tops will shorten them and spread them all out. If you do decide to try some LST go slow with your bends. Sometimes I'll twist the stems to loosen up the outer layer of the stem to make them bend easier if they are really rigid.

All good advice.

If those were my plants, I would:
1. LST them now and get a good spread.
2. Wait 2-3 days - depending on how they react to LST - then flip.
3. LST throughout stretch - move branches & buds (gently, not LST) for max light exposure; I also prune a leaf or three that's blocking buds right up to harvest.

LST is Low Stress Training. How low is kinda up to you. I don't mind pinching and rolling stems till they're floppy and need support during veg; but in late flower I barely - gently - move branches an inch or two and use stakes to hold position. (I did the gross positioning during veg / stretch)

Well I may have taken a bit too much off the blackberry breaths but I got a good spread on them we will see how they react over the next couple days, twisted and bent a couple, topped the gssxchernobyl again thanks for all the tips guys !20220313_093035.jpg20220313_093027.jpg20220313_093013.jpg20220313_093016.jpg

Looks really good and a lot better, I think they’ll look great in 3-4 days. Small minuscule possibility you could burn the bottom of the leaves on the backleft one unit it starts turning up (which usually happens pretty quickly), but I’m a nervous cat, imho just eye it closely the next day or two

Or if you can wait a week or two LST, bend some branches, let others come up and so forth, plant in top left more or less mainlined which is good way to go for multiple tops just takes a little more time, the diffrence in a 2wks in final yield can be quite a bit compared to flipping earlier, maybe top feed with sprayer and get some extras on them to get them a little bushier.
I’ve just posted a few pictures and info for my set up and its the first time i’ve vegged longer and mainlined, i usually top or fimm then do some leaf tucking and LST.
