should i do 1 of 3 Things w/ Light?????

gonnna start some seeded babies.... have 5- 6 hrs direct sun light(MAX!!) a day, i am gonna start a cheap cfl grow room.....should i use the 6 hrs of sun then move to cfl(9000 lumens for 3-4 plantsish?) to make 18 hrs of light daily, possibly confusing my plants? or stick to direct sun or direct cfl?...my gut tells me to stick with one and ride it..........im thinking cfl it for veg then flower it outside but i do LOVE SUN......can use some intelligent help ...thanks...

use the cfls bro, there is no need to cause plant stress just to save on energy. you should be good with one 26/w cfl per plant when there small if you cant afford to go all out. once they start growing your deff gonna have to upgrade to 2+ once they start to grow and like 4 for flowering

how does using the sun stress plants? ive been doing what he's talking about (except w/400w of cfls and more like 14 hrs sun 10 hrs under cfl) and it hasnt hurt any of my babies yet......

Ive just heard that plants thrive in a more consistent form of light, not that they wont grow on both or anything.. but not sure

stick em where the sun does shine, AND put cfls on them too, leave the cfls on 24/7 and when the sun comes up... that's just nice natural supplimental light for your girls.
