I ordered a 40x jeweler's loupe and it's on its way. But I wasn't really thinking it was close to ready. It's been in flowering for 7 weeks exactly so I didn't figure it would be done. I was just taking pictures (because I'm still a newbie and fascinated with the details of buds.), zoomed in on that on and noticed it. So I kinda thought "well shit what do I do?" when I noticed it.a lot of green in that plant still too. you should start to see some yellowing of those big fans and such if your flushing well.
That was my plan. I want to give it a couple days of darkness after it dries out the last time, and I just watered it before the photo session where I discovered this. So it didn't really fit with my plans, but I don't want super overripe buds. When in doubt, sleep on it.
So you think I should not be flushing now?Two weeks approx. Don't stop feeding now is when you will be putting on weight/bulking up.
I personally wouldn't feed again but I know a lot who do all the way through,
If you are organic keep going with your teas or whatever but chem based nutes I'd stop now. I'd say 10 to 15 days closer to 10 I think.
Guano or kelp will be fine to use guano has a lot of p k kelp high in k.
Too late to worry now lol but honestly I've screwed up and fed a week before witg no discernable difference no black ash no harsh taste, I sometimes wonder how valid flushing really is besides forcing the plant to consume itself at the end of flowering and stop it uptaking salts.Thank you, the grow has been done with nothing but organics, with a caveat. I used fish emulsion and compost tea during veg and FF Tiger Bloom/compost tea during flowering with the last couple weeks adding a little molasses.
Caveat is that I used an organic "3-6-5" pellet fertilizer, granted at about 1/3 strength but it says to be replenished every 30 days and it's been almost twice that since I added a little to the soil.
Edit: I'm high, my point was I don't know how much of that is/can be flushed or even really what it is.
Flushing is a controversial subject, but pretty much everyone agrees it is not necessary with organic grows.Thank you, the grow has been done with nothing but organics, with a caveat. You might really keep an eye on it, looks ready to me, plenty of ambers on buds and on the leaves. Some of the calyxes look seeded or its just time for me to see the eye doctor.
I'd go further and say most people agree that Flushing (whatever that is...lol) is not needed in any grow.Flushing is a controversial subject, but pretty much everyone agrees it is not necessary with organic grows.
Yeah, I've kind of heard that. I was going to, to be safe. But, I don't know what it would do really.Flushing is a controversial subject, but pretty much everyone agrees it is not necessary with organic grows.
I am planning to let it go at least a few more days until the soil dries out then reassess. From the photos it's hard to tell, but ,everything looks good, but if it was me I would give it another 7 days ,I still see white Pistols ,not many but odd one ,leave it a extra week, you will be surprised on the weight difference .and the Quality of the end product .
Your eyes do not decieve you, they had a tent-mate that grew bananas. I pulled it as soon as I noticed, but the damage was done I believe. You might really keep an eye on it, looks ready to me, plenty of ambers on buds and on the leaves. I think that's why the buds are maturing a little earlier than normal. I checked a calyx on the top bud with tweezers. It was hollow with just a speck in the hollow part.If they got seeded ... Buds have stopped building and will solely move to form seeds. What has grown up to this point " will " mature , but will not flower much more.
