ok so im worried about my plants its been raining for 3 days straight and its supposed to freeze tonight rain tomorrow and then freeze again tomorrow night. so do you think i should chop my bubblegum early to ensure i at least have some smoke for this year. the other plants aren't very close to being done so im just going to leave them out their and hope they survive the weekend. i would cover them up but my spot would be way to obvious if i did .its supposed to warm back up a little bit after this weekend.PLEASE give me some advice.

Dont chop early if you dont have to! Nothing like seeing small buds after a dedicated grow season...

But if you have to then do it. Are they in pots?

Is there anyway you can cover them after dark and get to them before sunrise to uncover them? This way hopefully know one will notice the cover. I know this sounds like a pain in the ass, but you got to do what you got to do to save your buds!

Nice purps very nice buds! But those are not ready. I wont make your decision

However can you dig them up snd move them somewhere warm?

Hey Stonerdude,

That's a tough call. I live in SmellA and we had rain yesterday. I have a couple of Blue Dreams outside and I was worried about them. I was hoping the rain would pass by us.

Anyway .... When it stopped raining yesterday I went up the hill and shook all the colas (about as big and long as my arm) to get the moisture off. Went up this morning and they were drooping but lookin good.

If you could cover them that would be great.

Good Luck :joint::peace:

chop some don't think you won't get ripped like me you THINK their hidden avoid the grief I've been through If I'd only chopped one my misery would have been so much less those plants of yours will be plenty potent don't get caught up in the trichrome clear vs amber thing harvest some now

I have a similar problem in england. its due to frost the weekend, and i was wondering if the frost does kill them, how do you know if its too late. surely they dont just die over night? you must have a bit of time to chop them after a frost before the dreaded mould sets in, or am i mis informed?

from what ive heard the plants can survive the first couple frosts im just worried about the mold and the stress because it sounds like the first frost here is gonna be kinda harsh and its gonna freeze and rain 2 nights in a row. it could survive but im not sure if i want to put my plant thru it when its this close to being done.

does frost fuck up the quality? i thought if the frost does get to it, and you concede defeat and chop it then all is saved, its just you cant wait till the buds have filled out.

Please try to enjoy the trimming. Wear gloves and use sharp scissors!

Yeah fuck the winter! The ladies looked good! They didn't get to fill out all the way but you really need to look at the silver lining on those hail clouds. You completed a grow, you didn't get ripped off. you didn't get caught, and you will have some weed to smoke! ALOT of worse situations could have happened other than chopping a little early.

If you grow inside you don't have to worry about the weather!! :)
