Hey everyone,

I'm growing 6 girls in my un-used shower and they just went into flowering. (You can see for yourself in my grow journal, check my sig). I've got 2 clip fans which work well, but then again, they're just circulating the same old air (most of the time), right? Some fresh air gets in from the rest of the apartment, but I thought it was time to invest in an intake fan.

What's your opinion on this one? I could only find cheap stuff on the German Amazon.

http://www.amazon.de/Steinigke-Showtechnic-Axiallüfter-BF-4-119x119x39mm/dp/B000TGFD2A/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_3

It's a 12 by 12 cm fan and I read something like 125cbm/h. I don't know what cbm is.. could they mean cubic metres per hour?

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Honestly dude, i think you'd be better off with a hanging can fan.
plus most lights and carbon filters hook up to these, via duct tubes (silver ones used on dryers)

You have MONSTER plants, so why settle with a little baby computer fan
if anything you need MONSTER air circulation. I got a bunch of biggies too
and I use two oscilatting fans, and a ceiling mounted can fan to take it away
else where.

You can buy these at any HOME DEPOT

Haha, yea I know but I'm really on a tight budget. I just bought 50 litres of soil, 6 new pots and a 600w lamp + a new fan...

I never leave the shower curtain closed all the way, so they do get fresh air. Plus the bathroom door is open, so they are constantly being fed fresh air.

So you see I'm not desperate for an intake fan, I'm just now sure if I should get one...

i made this works fantastic
Already did that lol, it's really not making much of a difference...

Do you live in the US? If so then no way buying a fan on german amazon will end up being cheaper after shipping. You might have to search a little harder for what you need. I would suggest to just do things right and spend the money on an inline fan, and not one of the cheapo "duct booster" type fans either. You can get a 4" 150-200 CFM fan for under $100 shipped.

Unfortunately I'm not - I'm in Europe. If I was in the States I wouldn't have this problem lol

I'm on a tight budget, like I said before so a fan like in the link is maybe all I can get.
