Should I be worried

This NL auto is only a week old now should i be worried about the stretching and the thin stalk?

No need to worry...just let it grow a bit and re pot it, burying the stem deeper into your medium.

If you are already in your final pot just add soil to the top of your pot to cover as much of the stem as possible. The buried stem will eventually start to grow roots.
