I currently have an aeroponics setup and I am debating wheter to add a very small amount of nutrients in the first week. The only issue is that I have not yet received my PH meter and worry that it may affect my PH too much or burn my plants, what does everyone think?

you got three options, use a really small amount, wait for ph meter, or test on one plant

I think i'll go ahead and keep plant the seeds with 0 nutrients for now.. I do have a Swimming pool PH meter with PH UP/DOWN.. WIll this work for now?

Cant test on one plant as they are all using the same water.

then i would go with 1/8 at this rate it should not affect the ph....an if you can't test the ph yet how do you know you are at the right level now?

yes, i know.. but im going to be using good purified water.. and i know the nutrients are what reflects the biggest changes on the PH, so i figure if i add nutes in week 1, i could really throw it off wack.. I bought a ph up down and ph tester on eBay, it should be here by tuesday or wednesday next week

How do your plants look now? If they look good wait for the ph meter and ph up and down. What kind of nutes?
