I just found out that 3 of the 5 I started with are ladies, quite happy about that outcome, but I'm wondering what is the easiest way of keeping plants shorter??

I've been looking at people's pictures and what not, and everyone has tall plants... I realize that taller means more bud, but I just don't have the room for 3 tall plants..

Should I just Harvest more frequently??? or what?

well, yes you could harvest early but for 3 plants your yield will be affected heavily. I suggest LST or topping. LST is something im about to try for the first time (fingers crossed) and it requires you to pretty much tie the plant down. Then theres topping where you actually just cut the plant off at the top and it grows out not up. But, topping does hurt the plant and will stop growth about 1 week. And for that reason is why i will go with LST. hit the faq itll show you how to do both. good luck bro

Go ahead and cut the top off of your plant above where the last two branches come out. Throw that away. Those two branches will start to get really big and grow instead of one main one. Tie those and the rest of your branches as flat as you can get them, constantly adjusting. That'll keep your plant almost flat until you start flowering.
