Short roots need help please

Alright so my roots on my bubba kush are not getting any longer and dont know why there are a lot of them but I am going on 7 weeks and I have a poor root system and cant flower yet, Other than the roots the plant seems very healthy it has an enoromous stalk and a ass ton of branches. please help

If things look fine up top I wouldn't stress too much. I can say that I've
never seen a 7 week old plant with roots not at least coming out of the
netpot. What medium are you using?

I was thinking about using the root enhancers but dont the roots need to be in the water for that to work effectively, also between Rhyzotonic and Bush Doctor what is better, I am using the STG grow medium basically like foam I am concerned about how healthy the material is because you cant really clean so well, can I use H2O2 yet if so how much in a 5 gal system

cant win for losing here the skunk I just started was doing great sprouted really fast really long to and when I looked at her this morn it was dehydrated because it pushed itself out of the medium

i know ill catch shit for this but my water level has been 3 inches over the bottom of my basket since day one..im about 3 weeks into flower now vegged for almost 4 weeks.

If I were you I would raise the water level flush with the bottom of your net pot and then check back when lights come on and see how shes doing.. 7 weeks and thats all the root you have ?? Should be a nice root ball by now.

I know thats my thought too there are some new roots poking throught that look like they have ptential to grow down but not many, I thought about raising the level but then I will be burning up the nutes pretty fast I might sink a couple of bottles of water in the rez to raise the level without adding nutes

I just got some advice that sounds good he says to stop the watering all together and let the plant look for water by growing roots, with the bubbles it should get enough water from the splahing of the bubbles till it reaches water...........?

that will prably work ok but like they said up there if the plant itself looks healthy why bother i have a og kush with the same deal shit load of roots but not to many poking out the pot i have six inch pot with 5 gal bucket flushing now will put some pics up later today when the lights come on but this plant is looking great in flower harvest her in about a week should be a good yield

I had to wait to flower too... I waited 2 more weeks plant grew 4-5 more inches but if you excuse the photos here are the results I saw using Canna's Rhizotonic


I germinated in 1" rockwool and placed seedling in the net pot lid 5-6" net cup full of hydrotrons. The roots grew all in the rocks and you can see in the first photo they did not look good to me especially for a 4 week old plant.

Think of the roots like your arm, this product grows the hairs, it works and does not raise your PPM! I use 30-40ML maybe raises it by 15 at the most!!!

dam weedler excellent time line with the photos now thats what i like to see prably going to go get some of that for my ladies in the future.

think the plant died, I watered real good before bed had to go out of town today just got back and it is limp and laid down only thing that is standing is the base of the stalk so I watered and raised water level back up to bottom of net pot I am lost now, on a good note the skunk I germed is doing awesome 3 days old and already about 3 inches tall and kicked off the seed cap so I may just move on from my bubba kush if he doesnt do any better
