Short rider autoflower outdoor grow

Hey guys i am growing organically outside in sunny puerto rico.

feel free to comment, i saw a sticky saying don't comment unless given permission so yeah it is cool lol.

I started germination wednesday night january 29th. 2 days later on a friday, i noticed it had a long root, i ran into a dilemma. I was supposed to go get organic soil 80 miles away, did not have the time. So i stuck the seed in a cup of some walmart potting soil.

Has any one seen those self watering pots at walmart, you fill the tray underneath and it waters the plant when it needs water for up to 2 weeks, no need to worry about under or over watering. I just don't know which one should i get, 6incher looks good. I don't know how many gallons fits in there.

The very next day, it sprouted. So here is day 2 of it in the soil. Peeking out. day 4 it is growing fast.day2.jpgday4.jpg

sounds great crayc -

assuming you are growing in a container outdoors and not directly in the ground ? ? ?
I would recommend going with either a 3.5 gallon container or a 5 gallon container..

good luck :-)

they look pretty good to me -

they are working on shooting their tap roots down to the bottom of the container......My guess is that you will see some significant growth here in the next week.

try not to over-water or under-water your babies, but if you have to do one, under watering is easier to remedy than over-watering. Sometimes having such a tiny plant in a large container can make it difficult to judge when to water.

good luck amigo and keep em green

i have them 1-2 inches away, bioheaven from what ir ead is supposed to be started when they are seedlings, for root strengh or something about energy lol. i use about a drop of the thing, so not strong. I am going at week 4 this thing should be bigger, getting frustrated from seeing every one else's short rider at my stage being nice and big while mine is a midget

so this is week 5, grew pretty quick outside in a week. been feeding her bio-grow. she looks to be enjoying it. She is sitting on the concrete roof, she is getting a nice breeze. I put cardboard on the side of it since there is a 2 story house that could see it, so the cardboard will block the view. no one else would be able to see it. Reason why its not in my backyard is because there is a spidermite infestation i am getting rid of. she is safe in the roof.

how does she look? How far you think she has to flower.
