Short flower to harvest?

I have a photoperiod just starting week 6 of flower and showing numerous trichomes turned or turning amber. Very petite buds. Smells amazing. Is it unheard of to find a plant so close to finish so early? No idea the strain.

there are alot of variables to consider this question from blank. generally a strain that finishes healthy full buds in less than 8 weeks is impressive and is a keeper in terms of production. If it finishes fast enough it will allow for another harvest by the end of the year vs other strains. Who doesn't like getting in an extra harvest in a year!

Pictures?
Didn't post until lights out. I'll post pics tomorrow. This one was a real challenge for a newbie. Apparently it was real easy to overdo the lighting among other things. Actually gave up on it and pulled out of the tent for a couple days at one point then it started having new growth so it went back in and never looked back. It seems to have flourished ever since aside from the small buds. Also had a few male flowers but the smell is out of this world. Attempting a clone that I clipped about 8 days ago. I sure would like to have another try at this strain.

The ambers you're probably seeing are on leaves and not the bracts/calyces of the flowers. I agree overall it doesn't look ready at this time.

Whenever you think it's ready, give it two weeks. --this is written in stone somewhere  lol
