Hey guys I just checked on my seedling that has sprouted a tap root and the tap root has snapped off!! What should I do and what did I do wrong

You are using the paper towel method eh?

You waited to long to transplant. Or transplant now.

Nothing you can do, just hope its not too bad. Sprouts are delicate but tougher than you think.

Pop more seeds. Not in paper towel in ziplock bag. As you experienced the roots really stick to the paper towel. If you feel like this method is easiest for you then remove cut away as much papertowel as you can and transplant it with the root undisturbed. Watch it. Have your transplant containet ready to go. Filled up and soil already moist.Dont wait for the root to get more than 1.5 inches or have a long stem and fully opened cotyledons. Justs makes it more likely to bend or break sprouts.
