Shiny and curling in leaves

Hello,

to start I am a complete noob. I am 6 weeks and 3 days in but the new growth look shiny and have a weird glaze and the new leaves are curling in a look jagged.

I give them mills A B start and vitalise on the mills schedule

I had a mite problem in week 3/4 but I have since got rid of them with dr schimmel. I use weekly neem oil and check every day for mites but have not seen any

the humidity is around 50% and the temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius. But sometimes when I wake up at night it may go slightly high to around 30.5 degrees C.

the light rotation is 18hours on 6 off and the night temp is around 20/21 degrees C.

I give them around 4L every two days two times with nutes one time with plain water. I make sure the top layer of soil is near enough dry before I water as to not over water them.

any suggestions/recommendations will be greatly apreciate or if you think they are fine that would be a great heads up too.

I’m using 600w hps bulbs and the plants are about 60/70cm tall at present.

Kinda hard to see with your hps on. Dark and glossy leaves, typically, indicate nitrogen toxicity. But again, can't see the true color under those lights.

Riu is to me what Facebook is to everyone else. If im not on here at least multiple times a night, something has gone wrong. While only 2 years growing, I think in doing ok enough to offer my opinion, I like ti keep my girls short, and I don't have the space to dedicate a room to growing.

my friend is telling me what to do and he gets a like 200/250g per plant so just following that. I’ve actually read that height isn’t great but I will see I guess.

I’m seeing heat stress. Also are you controlling humidity 24/7?

Color indicates enough nitrogen for a while. You need to get air moving and a lot of it.

i try my best I check every hour. To see if the humidifier has gone off.
Also I have an intake fan bringing air in from outside and an outtake fan that recycles the air every minute.

This is the fan specs in the pic.
Also the room is 3.2m by 3.8

should I turn the extractor fan down?

You need at least one fan blowing air over and around the canopy. Not directly on them or they’ll look like they do now. Has there been a fan blowing directly on these?

They can get this shape, but not this color, from being wind whipped.

I have 3 oscillating fans that go up down and all around. It blows on them briefly but they move gently. Should I have it not on them at all?

Get them blowing over the top. That’s why they have this shape. Under the canopy too if you’ve trimmed under it.

Have you got telegram so I can send you a video of the fans in motion and the effect on the plants

Better to blow air around plants rather than directly at them. Appreciate this is not easy with a dense canopy.

If temps are under control at all times, that folding up at the leaf edges does look a lot like wind burn. I once left a fan blowing directly at a plant by mistake and it ended up looking just like yours.
