She is almost a foot taller than my other girls and i have no idea what to do about it. the height difference is making it difficult to adjust light height.

A bit of sativa there, grab some type of non-toxic rope/string and tie those tops down. How far in are you? Is she still stretching?

4/5 weeks in and she has stretched up like that since a seedling even under the same conditions as the rest. and as far as i can tell she has gone into flowering and has stopped stretching for the moment but i doubt she will stop for long

I would just super crop those 4 tops. At least get those 2 top ones down to the 2 bottom ones

You don’t know the type of seeds your running?
Had a few family crisis around the time of germination and planting seedling, had them all labeled while germinating and then i rushed it when I planted the seedlings and forgot to label the rapid rooters. Was only planning on growing autos but got 3 free seeds from seedsman and they're jack herer photos. *edit* and because this is my first grow I was an idiot and just assumed they would send me the jack herer auto strain because i ordered autos.

Bend the whole plant down sideways, and tie it off so it starts to grow upwards again at the same height as the other plants.

Ive bent 3 of the tall stems down to the same height as the other plants and have tied thin rope from the support beams of my tent down to the bend stems to support the weight of the new growth. anything else i should do?

Watch it grow, and keep it tied back. I imagine that should solve your problem. Since its finally starting to flower it won't get much stretchier I don't think.
