Shelf life of a clone in total darkness

How long could a clone live in total darkness in a sealed, my brother is going home and he wants to take some cuts with him in a dvd case with wet paper towls to keep am moist.

**depends.. i'd give it 2-3days tops

thnx..thats what i was thinkin..this could be 3-5 days.

If he keeps it on ice, a few months.

Cmt taught me about keepin cuts in the fridge

if its in complete darkness for too long you could induce flowering. look out for that!

Yeah i though of this..but it can be put back on 24h light

i think a fresh cut would have a better chance than a rooted one?

I left an extra clone in my box in complete darkness 7 days ago today. It had just peeked the first root out of the rockwool when I cut the lights. I pulled it out this morning to clean my clone box and it looks fuckin great. I'm gonna keep it as a mother now.

the clone will survive for atleast 3 weeks without air, water, or light. All you have to do is re-hydrate. Ive done this by mistake so i know it works.
