Shed grow - seal light to avoid bugs?

I have an indoor grow in an outdoor shed which has some light cracks. I am afraid that those cracks are attracting tiny insects.

I've had a round of seedlings almost die (I think will die soon) due from what appears to be an infestation.

Of course I will plan to 100% seal this outdoor grow shed with LED lights on at night, as best I can to avoid the problem ASAP. I am also starting insecticide treatment in the room and neem on the seedlings/soil.

Meanwhile I am wondering if any cannabis enemies such as thrips, spider mights or similar actually are attracted to light? So I can better know who/what is contributing to this current mess I am in?

Spray foam insulation/gap filler will do the job, albeit usually an ugly one. Could also use Flex Seal which would do the job nicely as well, but a lot more expensive.

Seal all corners/cracks even if it doesnt appear to need it. Anywhere 2 separate pieces of board meet should be sealed, including around windows and doorways, edges of the floor/ceiling, where sub floor buts up to each other (if applicable), etc.

Would then also apply a band treatment of an insecticide (like you said) around the interior/exterior after doing all the sealing. You dont want to spray anything on your plants.. just some triazicide or something similar along the base of the walls and around the doors/windows. If possible, id go as far as shutting off your ventilation during this process and until the chemical has had ample time to dry, AND cover your plants, just to prevent any possible chemical from coming into contact with your plants via droplets in the air. Beyond this you'd likely only need to treat on the exterior of the shed moving forward.

I also have a shed grow. You need a tent to control everything and cut down on light leaks. The tent also keeps out bugs for the most part.

Fair point I just mean if you don’t want to do anything else. Your room looks very nice. I’m not as good of a craftsman as I am a grower lol
Thanks, it did take a fair amount of work. It was an old tin shed that was falling apart. Reframed it with 2x3’s and added interior walls (OSB with bathroom paint). Wired it with a 50A 240v sub-panel and installed a window AC & 6“ intake/exhaust. I plan on adding CO2 soon.
