she showed preflowers.. now?

hi to all. new grower (third in progress) but old reader of the forum. great work in here..

i have a plant that is growing indoors/outdoors since november. it's 5 months old now and she grew all these months next to a window in the morning and next to a 36 watt fluoro at nights.. anyway this plant has passed from hell all these months... 2 times has been eaten by my sisters cat and one time during LST i almost cut off one of her 2 main branches she made after the topping... and a lot more bad incidents... nevertheless the plant is still growing really fine and 4 dayw ago she started throwing pistils... not much but more than 1 or 2... so i guess this is her preflowering stage? because she still takes about 16-20 hours of light...
now what can i do? i have in my tent 6 autos so i run 20/4 schedule at this moment.the autos have another 10 weeks max to finish.what is best? to leave her outside especially now the weather is getting great, or place her in the tent? will she stands another 2 months in preflower stage?and what wiil happen if i leave her too long before i start flowering her? i'm comfused... help!!

You can keep her in vegetative as long as you want. The preflowers just let you know you are not wasting your time, that she is a female. The longer you veg, the bigger she gets. Just be sure she doesn't outgrow your area. If you want to keep her shorter, you can always cut the top off and it will add colas and time to your vegetative state.

put her in the tent, and go to 12/12 after the auto's are chopped.

yup I agree!

. topping is a solution i guess. i already did it once above third node(third true set)and she gave me 2 main branches.i suppose i can do it again to other branches as well? can i cut the top from the fourth or the fifth node of a branch? or only till the third?
i asked because i thought that i couldn't hold her more at vegetative now she started throwing pistils..anyway thank you all for the answers.

if you're only getting pistils at your nodes (intersection of branch and stem), then you are absolutely fine
if you are going to veg for 2 more months though, i'd cut both heads at your "new" 3rd nodes, pinch off all branches that don't meet your new canopy, wait 2 weeks and repot
when you repot, loosen your root ball up and trim off a couple inches of roots all the way around
place in fresh soil
do the repot one more time about 5 days before you flower

actually she has pistils on top of the one main cola too.the other cola as i said has been already topped by my cat.so now she has actually 3 . 2 on the one side and 1 on the other...

i'm not sure if i can do the root trim you suggest cause i think i can easily kill the plant.. though i will transplant her next week to a bigger pot.now she has 5 ltr soil only.i'm thinking of giving her enough space to veg.maybe 20-25 ltr. i just wanted to wait until she recovers after i almost cut her one main branch a week ago..i think now she is ready..

I don't blame you, I wouldn't trim any part of the roots either.
LSTing a topped plant is a great combo. You said you you almost cut off a branch while lsting?
Try just tying down those three branches with some yarn about 90 degrees. I put some screws in the pots
to tie them down to.

i use landscape staples to pin down branches. i love them.

thought the pot was bigger
no need to trim you could go to a 2 gallon then 5 or 7 at flower time - sorry
