She ripe??

Just wondering if im ready to harvest. Way over 100 days sonce flip. Most all pistols have changed amd trics are all cloudy but no amber.

I was hoping for some amber. Maybe my jewlers loop is not strong enough i thought I seen a few amber. Any need for a dark period before chopping her ?

Thanks for that. And if my plant looks like it has a ways to go feel free and say it. Im looking for any and all input before i chop this girl
 
Some strains don’t amber until after harvest as plant dies off. As long as over 80% of pistils have changed and receded you can chop ( another indicator).

Doing a lot off reading today on 'dark period', it's a big debate along with flushing. Basically 'dark period' ensures less chlorophyll in the plant so starts the curing process. There is talk of ripening happening in 'dark period' when combined with oxygen starving flush where amber comes out but don't harvest when plant is turgent or swollen with water.

But how long of a dark period?
 
Remember photosynthesis uses chlorophyll and it happens when lights are on. So dark period starts the degradation of chlorophyll, which is a goal when harvesting bud.

By waiting should I just keep watering as norm and same light sched? Strain is tahoe cure a og kushXgrape stomper . I have no prob waiting if you think I would benefit from it

Its a matter of opinion. You could actually cut a few kolas now, a few more in a week, and a few more in a couple weeks. That way you will can scientifically analyze what ripeness you prefer. The earlier you cut the more stoney head high you get. The later you cut the more couch lock you get. Personally, I like to be super glued, chained, and cemented to my couch.
 
Same as a real nice wet dry cycle for thc in bloom, nobody understands why my outdoor is so nasty dank nobody knows the diff they think it’s indo til I tell em an it’s cuz I ph my water and I run a nice dry cycle in bloom to push out that THC content heavy , u gotta let ur plants starve in bloom it’s key outdoors anyways , my plants r very “seeable by planes” let’s say by harvest... not much nitrogen left in em
