Just wondering if im ready to harvest. Way over 100 days sonce flip. Most all pistols have changed amd trics are all cloudy but no amber.
I was hoping for some amber. Maybe my jewlers loop is not strong enough i thought I seen a few amber. Any need for a dark period before chopping her ?Well if you are all cloudy then you can think about chopping anytime. I personally like to get more milky and see a few amber but it will get you high as it sits.
Some people swear by the dark period. Some people swear by stem splitting. Who really knows. Nobody knows. I will advise you harvest when the pot has been dry for a day.I was hoping for some amber. Thank youSome strains don’t amber until after harvest as plant dies off. As long as over 80% of pistils have changed and receded you can chop ( another indicator).
Nice chunk.
Went back and read your comment on one of my other posts. Great info man. Apreciate yaSome strains don’t amber until after harvest as plant dies off. As long as over 80% of pistils have changed and receded you can chop ( another indicator).

But how long of a dark period?Doing a lot off reading today on 'dark period', it's a big debate along with flushing. Basically 'dark period' ensures less chlorophyll in the plant so starts the curing process. There is talk of ripening happening in 'dark period' when combined with oxygen starving flush where amber comes out but don't harvest when plant is turgent or swollen with water.
If you are not looking for more ripening it's minimum of your schedule regular dark period or more but they say a long period can be somewhat a waste of time other than to ripen. But how long of a dark period?
Personally I wait longer than most. I like my fruit super ripe. I dont eat bananas until they are what most people consider compost. Personally I'd wait...Thanks for that. And if my plant looks like it has a ways to go feel free and say it. Im looking for any and all input before i chop this girl
Whats the strain?Just wondering if im ready to harvest. Way over 100 days sonce flip. Most all pistols have changed amd trics are all cloudy but no amber.
By waiting should I just keep watering as norm and same light sched? Strain is tahoe cure a og kushXgrape stomper . I have no prob waiting if you think I would benefit from itPersonally I wait longer than most. I like my fruit super ripe. I dont eat bananas until they are what most people consider compost. Its a matter of opinion. You could actually cut a few kolas now, a few more in a week, and a few more in a couple weeks. That way you will can scientifically analyze what ripeness you prefer. The earlier you cut the more stoney head high you get. The later you cut the more couch lock you get. Personally, I like to be super glued, chained, and cemented to my couch.By waiting should I just keep watering as norm and same light sched? Strain is tahoe cure a og kushXgrape stomper .
