my plant is getting way to tall, it is in my backyard and i dont realy have much to worry about but i got a feeling that by the time the baby flowers it gonna be pushin 10 ft. i just need to find a way stop it from getting taller i have already topped it once and i have 2 huge colas on her, 20 days ago it was at about 45-50 inches, today it is pushin 7 foot, is there anyway to safely stop it from getting taller without damaging her? any info would be a big help, thank in advance.. the first pic is from june 23, at about 45-50in the second is from today pushin 7 ft.,

put a stake in the ground and tie the plant and slowly bend it over this may increase yield as well. hope this helps if you do end up doing it post a pic.

She's a monster man! Like the other guys where saying, bending it over is your only real option. How thick is the stem? I had to bend one of mine over about a month ago and she's loved me for it, but wasn't nearly as big as that. It was about the size of yours in the june pic. Even if you can only get it part way, like 45 degrees, it should help you out a little.

BTW that is an amazing amount of growth in 3 weeks.

LST and Supercropping and even FIMing would help.

There's a lot of information on these techniques, all over the web.

Before you do anything, I suggest you search those terms and find out the advantages of each.

Used with forethought, your problem should be solvable.

so i should just go through and top every branch that has new leaves? ive been wondering about doing that but never thought about it to hard. ill try it thanks. + rep
I think you'll be happier if you just bend her over.

Topping slows down growth, and scatters the plant's energy into many small growing tips. You'll get a lot of smaller buds.

I think LST is the ticket.

Psychologists have linked this sort of behavior to insecurity related to below average penis size.
that has me rollin, good shit doggy, i guess its kinda the same as a 40 something goin out and buying a corvette, well there is no room for that around here, i prefer to just let me grow do the talking and thanks to all the helpful people on here a feel good about mine and cant wait to share many more years of fun in the sun with my number one ms. mj and all you guys to share, by the way your grow this year looks amazing, i wish i could do that much, but i kinda have to keep it low key, i dont live in cali or detroit, i am planning on moving back to cali in the next couple years though so i can do what i love and not have to worry about thoes pesky pork chops in the sky.

What you've done is a good start. She looks like she's bent over as much as possible, for now. You can also spread the branches, horizontally to increase the canopy.

After a couple days in this position, you'll be able to make further adjustments.

that looks like it will do the trick the branches will redirect them selves tho compensate for the lean you can also start doing it to the side branches will be short monster with many more bud sites.thanx fot the rep heres some for you for listening to the good advise.

Doing the same thing got about a 2 inch stock she is stubborn. Topping and tying down both work, I usually top once and then tie like a month later.
